John H. Sharon (1927 - 1980) worked as a legislative assistant to Representative George Howell of Illinois. He also served as a Democratic Party campaign organizer in 1956 and 1960, and later as a Presidential adviser to John F. Kennedy (JFK) on foreign affairs.
