Folder Description
This folder contains summaries and Record of Actions of National Security Council (NSC) Executive Committee meetings regarding the build-up of Soviet Union military equipment, personnel, and missiles in Cuba; United States missiles in Turkey; and the embargo placed on Soviet ships into Cuba. Of note are messages to President John F. Kennedy from Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev. Also included in this folder are intelligence memoranda on Cuba and the Soviet Union by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
