Folder Description
This folder contains copies of a speech by Senator John F. Kennedy titled, “Fair Labor Standards,” concerning the Fair Labor Standards Amendments of 1960 bill which raises the minimum wage and extends protection of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Also included in this folder is a Congressional Record containing a speech made by Senator Kennedy in the United States Senate titled, “The Urgent Need for the Kennedy-Ervin Labor-Management Reform Bill,” regarding legislation for the protection of unions against racketeering.
