To commemorate the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy's speeches at American University and in West Berlin, Ambassador Nicholas Burns, veteran journalist Marvin Kalb, Sergei Khrushchev, Adam Frankel (former Obama speech writer and assistant to Ted Sorensen), and Fred Kempe, author of BERLIN 1961: Kennedy, Khrushchev and the Most Dangerous Place on Earth, discussed the lasting influence of these two moments in history.

All Forums are free and open to the public. Reservations are strongly recommended, and may be made by clicking the "Register" link on this page, or by calling 617-514-1643. Registration guarantees a seat in the building, but not in the main hall. Doors to the main hall open approximately one hour before the start of each program.
