Kennedy [RFK]; working with RFK on civil rights marches and their legislative demands; and interactions with RFK from 1964 through 1968, among other issues.

In his speeches the Senator discusses the economy, labor, industry, legislation, and international affairs; and asks for support for his 1960 presidential campaign. Of note is Senator Kennedy’s acceptance speech titled, “The New Frontier,” given at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) upon receiving the Democratic Party’s nomination for the 1960 presidential election. In his speech the Senator addresses religion, Communism, nuclear weapons, and civil rights. He also discusses a New Frontier in America, which calls for leadership, courage, change, and opportunity for all.
