This folder contains miscellaneous correspondence and enclosures sent to the Council of Economic Advisers by individuals whose last names begin with the letter P. The material is filed roughly in reverse chronological order according to the date of the carbon copy reply. Items include two papers from the Ohio State Advisory Council on Unemployment Compensation titled "The Employment Security Elephant" and "The Role of Unemployment Compensation; various papers and proposals by Edward L. Page including "Consumer Engineering - An Answer to Unemployment" and "Distributive Enterprise, A Proposed Solution to Unemployment"; and materials from a conference on Productivity and Poverty that was held under the auspices of the University of Wisconsin. Note that this file contains some misfiled correspondence from 1963.
