This folder contains material pertaining to a wide variety of publications received by or sent by Bernard Boutin. Types of items include correspondence, news clippings, articles, magazines, and programs. Although the file is mainly routine acknowledgement and cover letters, there is also information on the topic of "objectionable" literature and a magazine ban in San Francisco, California. The folder contains entire issues of several magazines, as follows: The Magazine of Standards (vol. 35, no. 4, April 1964); The Register of Baton Rouge, Louisiana (4 April 1964), with a tribute to U.S. Representative James H. Morrison; Safety Standards, vol 12, no. 5 (September-October 1963); Performance: The Story of the Handicapped, a monthly publication of the President's Committee on Employment of the Handicapped, vol.14, nos. 1-2 (July-August 1963); and a Congressional Record appendix (19 October 1962). Other documents of note include a program for a Political Clinic for Teachers held in Cleveland, Ohio, and a letter from Harry S. Truman.
