Kennedy's secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, with and concerning former Democratic Presidential candidate and later United States Ambassador to the United Nations Adlai E. Stevenson. Materials mainly represent political and personal matters, including letters exchanged with then Senator and President-elect Kennedy. Items include letters from Arthur Schlesinger concerning Stevenson's support of Kennedy in the 1960 Democratic primaries and a message from Senator Kennedy to be read by Stevenson at the 1960 Democratic Convention. A memorandum from Stevenson with recommendations for President Kennedy's new administration is also included.

Also included in this folder are memoranda and an UN agenda item regarding the future of Ruanda-Urundi (later known as Rwanda and Burundi, respectively).
