Kennedy during his 1960 presidential campaign. Topics include agriculture, differences between the Democratic and Republican Parties, and challenges ahead for the 1960s. Also included in this folder is a speech titled, “A Time for Decision,” given by Senator Kennedy on the floor of the United States Senate. In the speech the Senator addresses relations between the United States and the Soviet Union; Communism; disarmament; the importance of scientific development in the United States; and aid to areas in need, such as Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and China.
