Decanter, wineglass, and compote engraved with a pattern of grapes and grapevines, and a version of the United States coat of arms. The glassware was originally ordered by President Andrew Jackson in 1829 from Bakewell, Page, & Bakewell and was added to by successive Presidents until 1853. The green wineglass was most likely purchased by President James K. Polk in 1845 to supplement the Jackson-pattern glassware set.
