This folder contains material pertaining to tax reform, tax cuts, and the tax program of the Kennedy administration. Only a small portion appears to relate to the articles and memoranda by Joseph A. Pechman on the status of tax reform and the distributional effects of tax reduction. Other items include an essay by Frazar B. Wilde titled "Some Comments on the History and Position of the Business Committee for Tax Reduction in 1963"; a booklet by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, "Tax Cut: Price of Prosperity?"; a position paper on tax policy by The Business Council's Committee on Taxation; and fact sheets on the President's tax proposals by the U.S. Department of Labor.
