Topics include program activity in the Area Redevelopment Administration, an amendment to the Interstate Commerce Act granting eminent domain to carriers of coal by pipeline, the Pittsburgh Steel Company, and the "E" awards ceremony. Of note is a "Freedom of Communications" report by the Subcommittee on Communications. Also included in this folder is a transcript of a press conference held by Secretary of Commerce Luther H. Hodges.

Also included in this folder is the "Handbook of Federal Aids to Communities" by the Area Redevelopment Administration. This folder also contains a draft of a paper titled, "Your Community and the Area Redevelopment Act."
