Flannery announces that the broadcast was from Director Murrow's office in the USIA headquarters in Washington, D.C. Accession MR-1972-096-015.

Also included in this folder is correspondence between President Kennedy and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Congo (Leopoldville) Cyrille Adoula, and a paper by the Director of the Bureau of Intelligence and Research Roger Hilsman titled, “Possible Soviet Military Assistance to the Congo.” This folder contains some foreign language material.
