A woman identified as Mrs. Bertha Golic Gore is lying in the middle. The other two women are unidentified. Mrs. Gore sent the photograph to President John F. Kennedy with a letter dated January 15, 1962. Mrs. Gore wrote on the verso of the photograph: "I believe you lived in this house in 1936. If I am wrong I stand to be corrected B.G."
