The largest portions of this collection cover Kennedy's Senate Years (1953-1960), and the 1960 Presidential Campaign.

Kennedy and others at official White House ceremonies, performances, and dignitary visits. Additional events include John F. Kennedy’s trips in the United States and Europe and the funeral services for John F. Kennedy. Also contains film of the commissioning of the USS Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. (DD-850) in 1945.
