Kennedy's secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, concerning President Kennedy's remarks upon signing the Golden Book at the Rathaus in Cologne, Germany. In his speech the President discusses the life of Chancellor Konrad Adeneauer, and characterizes Cologne as an ancient European city that acts as a gateway to the larger world. Materials in this folder include a draft with handwritten notations by the President and a press copy of the speech.
