About This Episode

On July 15, 1960, Senator John F. Kennedy formally accepted the nomination of the Democratic Party to run for president. In his acceptance speech, he spoke of the “New Frontier” - a frontier of unknown opportunities and perils, and challenged Americans to join him as pioneers in this new era.

Today, the JFK Library Foundation and Institute of Politics at Harvard University continue to honor those who heed that call with the New Frontier Awards. In this week’s episode, we talk with this year’s honorees including some of the organizers of the March for Our Lives movement and the youngest elected Mayor of Stockton California.

Special thanks to this week's guests, Mayor Michael Tubbs, Edna Chavez, Ryan Deitsch, David Hogg, and Tyah Roberts.
